The National Association of Record Industry Professionals is hosting an exciting panel in Atlanta on June 22 focusing on “Music & Metadata.”
In the music world, metadata is the information embedded in a song file that provides unique identifying information that is key to discovery, attribution and payment. This panel will discuss the process for tagging your songs with metadata, what kind of metadata is essential, and how to manage your metadata across various platforms.
Michelle wrote about the subject of metadata in more depth for attorney John Seay’s blog back in 2015. Check it out!
The panel will take place at 7 p.m. at SAE Institute of Technology (215 Peachtree St. NE, Suite 300).

I learned a lot tonight. The panel was very knowledgeable. I would like to attend some of your future speaking engagements.
